FWC: Citizen Scientist

Did you know that you can assist Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission with their research? FWC wants your help with the overall knowledge of health and fwc-logopreservation of our local wildlife. You can accomplish this by becoming a citizen scientist! This is a cost effective strategy that is used to help FWC elevate their ability to conserve Florida’s wildlife species. You do not need to be a biologist or have specific training to do so. All you need to do is observe and share what you see during outdoor activities such as biking, hunting, hiking, fishing, bird watching, or even from the bench of your favorite park!

The information that you share can help Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in so many ways! It provides them with new data and an updated status of the wildlife and fish of Florida. It is also a fun and educational experience that one can enjoy at any age!
